Conference Format

TVPF 2010 will be the fourth in the successful series of public/private sector Thames Valley Property Forums that have been held under the UK Property Forum umbrella since 2004. Enabled by Battle Associates, the aim will be to bring technology and innovation into the centre stage and understand how it will influence occupiers, communities, business, property developers and investors in the future. This will be done in a conference format with break out sessions included to ensure debate amongst the audience is encouraged and some conclusions to these key questions and issues answered.

Who should attend?
Investors, Occupiers, Professionals and Suppliers operating or interested in being involved in the Thames Valley and South East UK Region property, occupancy and construction sectors. Targeting will also cross over into public sector as key stakeholders from the regional economic authorities and cities will be in attendance.

Background
To be held near Reading (the Capital of the Thames Valley) the Forum will look at the key drivers for economic development and the subsequent knock on effect in the next decade for the property, design and construction community in the Region.  The agenda will purposely pull away from the past market conditions and look at the brighter picture of potential and entrepreneurial opportunity, which has always been one of the key attributes of the Thames Valley region. It will aim to explore a range of issues which we believe will act as catalysts for growth and potential new development.  By generating debate and discussion the Thames Valley Property Forum can continue its established track record of representing an important community.

What will be achieved by the conference?

  • generate interest and a buzz in the Thames Valley and M25 Regions
  • identify new sources of growth and investment opportunities
  • connect with the Property community to generate profile for the region
  • create a platform for key issues to be discussed and debated
  • networking and the opportunity to build new business relationships
  • unique chance to see new designs and development for the first time
  • education in content with CPD credits
  • become a  sustainable event with additional events in 2010 and 2011

Long Term Goals of TVPF
To generate a sustainable Forum which companies and delegates want to attend on a regular basis. By doing this in the heart of the Thames Valley and featuring issues driving the Region, delegates and sponsors will have the opportunity to see at first hand the many changes to the region and also hear what these changes will mean for them.
