Managing Director, EMEA, Design, Planning + Economics, AECOM
Andrew leads AECOM’s Design, Planning + Economics business across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Based in London, he is one of AECOM’s leading urban planners and masterplanners. His work ranges from strategic visioning and urban strategies to urban regeneration, sports events, development planning and regional development. He has led teams for major regeneration projects, including the Olympic Park for London 2012 and the post-Games legacy proposals, as well as advising on the regeneration potential for schemes including HS2, Crossrail and the redevelopment of Old Oak Common. Andrew’s other masterplanning work has focused on urban projects with a particular emphasis on accommodating additional growth and economic change in cohesive urban strategies both in major cities and emerging economies. This work is particularly relevant as the world economy shifts and the role of the global city is often becoming more important than that of the nation state.
