DINNER and CONFERENCE: 7th and 8th June 2006
Can Liverpool become a World City?

Working with the local community, politicians, investors, developers and suppliers to create a one day conference and dinner which discussed the changing face of Liverpool as it prepared for 2008 and re-generates itself. Delegates left with a clear understanding of the issues driving the current wave of investment and development in Liverpool. More than 230 delegates turned up for this two day event which was made of investors, developers, occupiers and advisors.

DINNER and CONFERENCE: Summer (June) 2007
Welcome to Doughnut City: Manchester

Again working very closely with the local community, politicians, investors, developers and suppliers to create a one day conference and dinner which discussed the urban development plans for Manchester as it begins to grow from the City core out into the suburban rings. The key Note speakers explored how this should be done with a presentation from Sir Howard Bernstein and Mike Ingal during the dinner in the evening. Again a very successful event, attended by more than 230 people.

DINNER and CONFERENCE: Autumn(September) 2008
Legacy of Cities :Liverpool

A smaller event, maybe reflecting the changing economic climate, which explored how Cities change and re-act after major events. As part of this event we organsied a charrette which involved participation from the whole audience looking at how Liverpool could grow and what ideas could be intergrated into future development plans such as North Shore. The event also included a dinner and attended by about 120 people in total.

 

London Property Forum

DINNER & CONFERENCE: 25th May, 2005
Creating Workspace for Tomorrows World!

One day conference held in Canary Wharf which was attended by more than 200 people, including the dinner, and celebrated 'Creating Workspace for Tomorrows World!'. Six sessions with more than 25 speakers and panellists spoke on variety of subjects.

The Fit-Out and Refurbishment Conference: People and Place

Two day conference looking at how the outer suburbs and city fringes which have historically defined London are gradually going through a renaissance. Content ncluded a review of the London Office Policy Review by the GLA, presentation of sustainable fit-out and new work style patterns being created by the construction of tall buildings. This also involved a critical look at the fit-out and refurbishment market with a selection of key note speakers.

CONFERENCE: Winter, 2007
Station Life 

One day conference exploring the relationship between the transport hub and office life. Located at The Gymnasium in London's St Pancras Station, opposite the Eurotunnel entrance, the conference worked with a number of sponsors and speakres to get over the need for a connection between placemaking and urban development in respect of the future growth of Cities. A successful conference which was attended by 120 people and received positive reviews.

CONFERENCE: Spring, 2008
Winds of Change

One day conference located at the offices of DLA Piper in the City of London, the aim was to talk about the downturn and solutions to increase activity bearing in mind the econics of the time which was all pre-Lehman Bearing collapse. It was successfully attended by more than 90 people and set a new standard for conferences based in the City of London and one we hope to replicate again in 2009.

 

Thames Valley Property Forum

CONFERENCE: 19th October , 2004
'Will the valley be green again?'

A one day conference attended by 150 people to discuss and debate key issues affecting the Thames Valley property and real estate market.

DINNER & CONFERENCE: 18th October, 2005
'Where have all the people gone?'

A critical look at how the employment trends have changed in the Thames Valley including the move towards outsourcing, relocation, downshifting, and the integration of communication hubs. Attended by 150 people including dinner.

Is the Thames Valley ready for T5?

One day conference and dinner looking at how the arrival of T5, Heathrow will affect the Thames valley and South East property market. The conference will have the involvement of key companies in the region but with the aim of identifying how the opening of Europe's largest construction development will change the Thames Valley property and industrial markets.
